The role of the Board of Directors is to determine policy, to identify needs of seniors in the community, to assist in planning to meet needs appropriate to this organization, and to be accountable to the membership and the community it serves, so that the stated purpose, goals and objectives of Community Care East York are realized.

5. Public relations
6. Continuity of the organization
Term:
Each Director assumes responsibilities for three years and may continue for a second term of three years.
