Community Care East York is a not-for-profit, accredited community-based agency committed to providing services that promote independence, good health and well-being.  Our mandate is to provide in-home and wellness services to assist seniors and people with disabilities to continue living in their own homes.

Community Care East York invites applications from the public at large interested in serving as a volunteer Director for a minimum of three years effective September 2010.  The Board is responsible for overall policy direction, and ensures that adequate resources exist to accomplish the agency’s mission. The Board strives for candidates reflective of our diverse community. Candidates must meet the professional qualifications, experience requirements and personal attributes outlined for the CCEY director. Applications will be
accepted until May 31, 2010.

We are especially looking for those with experience and qualifications in Finance.  Governance experience would be an asset.
