If you are a senior (aged 50 or older) having difficulty using public transportation, or are an adult with a disability, the Transportation Program can help. The Transportation Coordinator arranges rides for medical appointments, shopping and social activities. We offer door-to-door personalized service.

About The Program:

Community Care East York offers its clients transportation, with or without an escort.  These trips can be booked to take clients to medical appointments, social outings, grocery shopping or to run errands.

This is a personal door-to-door service that gives our clients an opportunity to get independent and to remain active in their community. Thereby offering support to family and caregivers.

Hours: Our transportation and escort services are offered Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 24 hours cancellation notice is required or a fee will be charged.

Costs: This reliable service is priced according to mileage. Group rate available for shopping outings if departing and returning to the same location. For information on fees for this and other services, please visit our page on How much do services cost?
